		<description>Hi,
My name is Alison. I am 19 and just came out to family and friends this year. I, like you, was also very nervous about coming out as bi, because I didn&#039;t know how people were going to take it. But even when it slipped to my grandmother (who I was most freaked out about telling), it felt so good to finally be honest with her and myself. She accepted me again, 100%. Sometimes, people put up fronts because they are afraid themselves of other&#039;s truths, but when you are honest with yourself, you know they love you no matter what.
It was a scary thing, but you can be surprised at all the good things that can happen :)
 I hope this helps.
